Financial Planning for Families                                                                                $90 (9 hours)

This course will explore basic financial planning objectives that impact most households. Topics for study include: retirement and the cost of living, long term care and protecting your assets, estate planning and transferring assets, cash flow and managing debt, smart investment to reach financial goals, education planning and maximizing financial aid, understanding your income tax filing and minimizing your tax obligation, and insurance planning for the unpredictable.  Minimum enrollment 3

Foundations in Personal Finance                                                                             $300 (30 hours) plus text $80

This course is geared towards young adults changing their financial future. Resources will be provided to empower the students to save, budget, avoid debt, spend wisely and invest, while building confidence in their own financial decision-making.  Students will learn about creating new financial habits and transform the way they approach money altogether.

Quickbooks Fundamentals                                                                                          $300 (30 hours) plus text $80

Learn how to use one of the most popular computerized bookkeeping/accounting programs for personal and small business finances.  Streamline earnings, deductions, checking, payroll, inventory, purchase orders, assets, equity, tax reports, and more.  Up to 50% in tuition assistance may be available. Limit 8 students.
