Northeast Kingdom Writer's Guide to Publishing                                    $40 (4  hours)

Whether you have been writing for years, or you are a new writer with ideas bouncing around in your head - find out what publishing venues might be best for your writing style and subjects. This 2-part workshop will cover everything from self-publishing, to publishing locally, to seeking publication outside of the NEK. Author/instructor Tanya Sousa has written and published essays and articles in local newspapers, in magazines, in anthologies, and has published books for both children and adults

Kripalu Yoga                                                                                                     $40 (4 sessions)

A Kripalu-style yoga class that will include a combination of meditation, pranayama (breath work), and asana (pose flow). Classes always end with savasana or deep relaxation.  All levels welcome. Please bring your own mat.

Basic Digital Photography                                                                          $60 (6 hours)

Have a really nice camera with full manual operation, but you are not sure how to take the best pictures? Learn the purpose of the knobs and buttons. Take it even further by learning about the exposure triangle, composition, and lighting. Students must bring their own DSLR camera to class.

If you have some digital photography skills and are ready for the next level, join us on four spring evenings to continue your learning. Pre-requisite “Basic Digital Photography” at NCCC Adult Education or instructor permission.

Watercolor  - Full                                                                                                   $130 (10 hours) materials included

Build on your current drawing skills in a new medium. Watercolors can open new doors for artistic expression and enhance color theory understanding.

Decorate your indoor and outdoor living space with functional art. Join Ally as she guides you in the creation of original containers for your favorite plants. Options will be available to leave the last class with a succulent plant.
