Learn how to use one of the most popular computerized bookkeeping/accounting programs for personal and small business finances.  Streamline earnings, deductions, checking, payroll, inventory, purchase orders, assets, equity, tax reports, and more.  Up to 50% in tuition assistance may be available. Limit 8 students.

Grant Writing and Grantsmanship                                                           $120 (12 hours)

Prepare for grant writing activities by considering general and specific techniques which can increase the chances of funding of grant proposals. Various sources of funding will be considered, including USDA-RD, foundations and incentive grants/investment vehicles. Each participant will work on a grant proposal of their choice as part of their class activity. Computer and internet access are essential for out-of-class research. Up to 50% tuition assistance may be available.
