The Workforce and Personal Development Program at North Country Career Center strives to offer courses and specific trainings to meet the emerging needs of employees and employers in our growing community. Lifelong learners will also find courses and workshops to enrich their everyday lives. We welcome communication with prospective business partners and students as we work together to develop and implement customized course in our state-of-the-art technical center. 

NCCC Workforce and Personal Development seeks to provide training and certification for adults who wish to explore new career opportunities or develop skills that will help them advance in their current career. We also offer classes that will provide enrichment opportunities for lifelong learners. 

After completing one of our courses, students will have one or more of these objectives as an outcome:

1. Improve their skills in their current job/career with increased possibilities for advancement. 

2. Use training they receive to apply for a new job/career.

3. Become inspired to pursue learning goals at another institution. 

4. Gain skills that can improve the quality of their lives outside of their jobs/career by introducing them to new skills or potential hobbies.
