Step off the sidelines and onto the job site!

Transform blueprints into real structures with our high-energy, hands-on Building Trades program. Designed for juniors and seniors (sophomores welcome by permission), this two-year experience equips you with the professional trade skills, mathematical precision, and real-world experience needed to build a powerhouse career.

Year 1: Master the Craft

Master job site safety, professional-grade tools, and construction mathematics while learning industry-standard build procedures. You’ll build from the foundation up – framing walls and floors, engineering staircases and roofs, mounting doors and windows, and installing siding and decks. Then, bring spaces to life with custom interior finishing, detailed trim work, cabinetry, and precision hardware installation.

Year 2: Build for the Community

Take your skills off campus! Put your training to work on active community construction projects, collaborating with local partners to build real structures. You'll sharpen your team leadership, sharpen complex problem-solving abilities, and build a  portfolio of work that puts you miles ahead of the competition.

Prerequisite Recommendations: Successful completion of Algebra I and a basic familiarity with geometry.
