This popular class offers hands-on experience diagnosing and addressing a variety of common issues with small engines. Students are encouraged to bring in their mowers, chainsaws, generators, and other small engines in this “fix what you broke” course.
CDL A – Vermont Commercial Driver's License Class A

Earn your CDL and start your new career. To qualify for a CDL in Vermont, you must be at least 18, have a valid VT driver’s license, pass a drug test, and obtain a medical certificate. The United States Department of Transportation requires that all drivers who transport materials across state lines be at least 21.
Introduction to Automotive Maintenance

Students will complete a basic automotive assessment to share what they already know and to identify gaps in knowledge, learn the names of major automotive systems and the important components of each, learn the basics of how different automotive systems work together in a vehicle and practice identifying the major systems and components on actual vehicles. The tools needed for the course are provided by the school.

Learn the fundamentals of bicycle repair. Students will learn basic skills including bicycle cleaning & safety check, trail fixes such as flat tire & broken chain repairs, drivetrain adjustment & assessment, brake system adjustment & assessment, and bicycle setup. Bring your own bike to become familiar with set-up & maintenance and practice essential skills.

This CDL hazmat test course is designed for commercial motor vehicle drivers seeking a hazardous materials (H) endorsement to their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). New in 2022, the hazmat endorsement is required to become a hazmat driver so that you can haul certain types of specialized freight and open new career opportunities as a driver.
Note: There are no refunds for this course. This course is excluded from ed2go standard refund policies. Once access to the course is provided, no refunds will be allowed.

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to make a reservation.
Will include a pre-vehicle use impairing substance drug screening.
The balance is due on December 19th at orientation.
Checks should be made out to Precision Driver Training School.
This course is for teenagers or adults who have a current Vermont Learner’s Permit and want to obtain a Vermont Driver’s License. While this course meets all state requirements, it places special emphasis on crash avoidance, situational awareness, and zone control. The academic component includes 15 or 16 classroom lessons, each lesson being 2 hours long. The driving component typically includes 12 or 13 behind-the-wheel lessons.
