What We Do

Are you passionate about animals, science, and the environment? Explore the fascinating world of Animal and Environmental Science while building the knowledge and hands-on skills to prepare for college and a future career.

Students dive into topics such as animal anatomy and physiology, nutrition, reproduction, genetics, microbiology, and animal health. Through scientific exploration, clinical diagnostic testing, and practical learning experiences, you’ll discover how science connects to animal care, agriculture, and the natural world.

Get hands-on experience beyond the classroom! Students learn to work safely and ethically with companion animals and gain unique, real-world experience working with 1,500-pound Holstein cows at a working biological field station in Westfield, Vermont.

Whether you’re considering a career in animal care, veterinary science, agriculture, or environmental science, this program offers an exciting opportunity to explore your interests, develop valuable skills, and discover where your passion can take you.
